Becoming a Sponsor/Donor

In order to currently benefit over 400 Ukrainian children, The TOUCH Project relies on the financial contributions of individuals in one of two ways: 1) as a child sponsor, and 2) as a donor to one of the 5 programs. Sponsors and donors include families, individuals, businesses, civic & religious organizations, youth clubs, and school classrooms.

Becoming a Sponsor

One may choose to sponsor an individual child by making an annual contribution of $75 per child annually. In turn, you will be given a specific name, age, and other delightful details of the child whom you will sponsor.

Becoming a Donor

A donor may choose a general donation toward the entire program or to one of the four specific programs (Pavlovo Farm, Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities, Public School #14, & the New Family Center). As another option, donors may also elect to contribute either to the Educational Fund for youth to help with school expenses or for dental services for the children.

A BIG THANKS

We are so thankful for the many sponsors and donors, the majority of whom are from Oregon, but others are represented across twenty-one additional U.S. states, Iceland and Canada. Additional funds have been raised from TOUCH sponsors and other individuals, foundations, organizations, and corporations, including NuSkin Force For Good Foundation, the Peery Foundation, Altrusa, Zonta, Kiwanis, and Rotary International, to support various projects over the years. These efforts have included the installation of a septic system at an orphanage, playground equipment facilities, remodel of 11 classrooms, a minivan, a 16-passenger van, a laundry facility, 2 computer centers, library, a sports field, 120 beds with mattresses and bedding, 350 quilts made by women in Benton County, braille equipment, and painting the outside of a Roma school. An educational fund has also been initiated for TOUCH kids who are studying at a university or technical school. In 2012, TOUCH partnered with Rotary International to purchase a new 24-passenger, wheelchair accessible, bus valued at $57,000 for the children with disabilities in Uzhhorod. A dental program was established with support from Uzhhorod dentists who reduce their costs of dental care for the children. Over $1,000,000 has been raised and donated over the years to improve and brighten the life of the children in The TOUCH Project.
